Projects
Splice Construction was the head contractor for this project, which required a high level of management detail due to the location and size. The job was spread over a 15km section of SH1 between Karapiro and Piarere, which included:
- Pavement widening
- Drainage improvements, including drop chambers, culvert lines up to 900mm diameter, subsoils, rain garden installation
- Sealing
Work also included the construction of the Karapiro Primary school carpark with a footpath, kerbing, drainage improvements and asphalt surfacing.
Due to the collaborative working environment and standard of work required, Splice Construction were awarded additional portions of work on this project.
